Tourist-residential development in Baja California, Mexico

Master plan and project for the execution of the tourist-residential development “Marinazul, Golf & Resort” in Baja California, Mexico

The tourist-residential development Marinazul Golf & Resort is located in the state of Baja California and bathed by the warm waters of the Gulf of California. Due to its privileged geographic situation, tourism has become one of the key sectors of activity in the area.

In this setting, Prointec has developed the master plan and construction project for the urban layout of the Marinazul development. The planned complex has an extension of 1,200 hectares and a total buildable area of 1,640,000 m2 for residential, tertiary and recreational uses, together with commercial and sports areas.

Prointec has been involved in the work throughout the whole of the life cycle of the tourist-residential development, from the land-use classification and planning processes to the building project for the residential development and the marina, including defining all the installations and supplies, the wastewater treatment plants (PTAR), seawater desalination plants (IDAM) and the electrical substation. The aim was to optimise the space and offer a tourist service with an exceptional standard of urban planning.
