Technical support in conducting prior studies for assessment, inspection and environmental discipline procedures, and in environmental impact assessment procedures for the Madrid City Council's mobility plans
The Madrid City Council, through its Government Area for Environment and Mobility, has chosen PROINTEC to provide technical support for developing the assessment, inspection and environmental discipline procedures for projects in which the council is the competent municipal body in the area of the environment; and in the public information processes for compliance with the various environmental regulations and procedures within the deadline: environmental assessment of activities and projects; integrated environmental authorisation; assessment of the environmental effects of plans and programmes, including urban planning; technical-legal support for environmental discipline tasks and processing disciplinary files; and support for document management.
The project also includes technical support for noise monitoring inspections in the case of complaints received due to activities carried out in the city of Madrid.
For this contract, PROINTEC has supplied a multidisciplinary technical team of over 25 professionals with exclusive dedication. It has also provided the council with a Geographic Information System (GIS) to support the process of environmental impact assessment of plans, projects and activities, facilitating the issue of proposals for reports to define protective and corrective measures for the environment, and the conditions, measures and environmental controls to guarantee their environmental viability.
