Works management and quality control
Within a framework agreement with the Port of Barcelona, Prointec develops the works management and the quality control of all works in this area, implemented within the Port’s domain, during a given period of time, corresponding to the contract term.
Main works developed by Prointec:
Urbanization.
- Accesses control ZLA Prat (Cal Malet).
- Demolition of the shed on Poniente Wharf.
- Road network planning Zone III (Urbanization Costa Wharf)
- Urbanization Barcelona Wharf.
- Urbanization of plot located in C/ÁLVAREZ de la Campa
- New maritime signaling on the East dock.
- Urbanization of the maritime terminal D extension.
- Plot preparation on the free zone.
- Roundabout in Ronda del Port to improve accesses to Estibarna and the Autoterminal.
- Embarkation gateway connection between stations B and C.
- Services connections of the ice factory and the fish market.
- Electrification of Prat Wharf (North area)
- Improvements of the sanitation network around the new mouth.
- Shelters remodeling in Adossat Wharf.
- Renovation of the electrical installation in section 5, TIR trucks parking, section 4 and second breakwater Wharf, adjustment to the REBT.
- Lighting of the railway terminal section 6. Phase I.
- Public lighting improvement of the Paseo Juan de Borbón and the Port Vell.
- Lighting improvement of the Adossat Wharf and the East breakwater.
Maritime works
- Extension of the turning area in the South Wharf terminal.
- Repairs in the berthing area Prat Wharf (North area).
- Construction of three new bollards at the Adossat Wharf.
- Container terminal Prat Wharf (phase 2). Not concessioned area. Turning area.
- Repair of ro-ro ramp between the Costa Wharf and the North second breakwater Wharf. Phase 1.
- Adjustment and protection of the South Poniente Wharf.
- Adjustment and protection of the Evaristo Fernández Wharf.
- Adjustment and protection of the Wharf (Morrot and San Beltran docks stabilization).
- Renovation of Lepanto Wharf.
- Wharf Maritime Station F. Filling.
- Extension of Adossat Wharf 2nd phase B (multipurpose terminal).
- Civil works new syncrolift Cataluña Wharf.
Railway works
- Extension of the railway terminal South Wharf. Phase II B
- Rail access in Iberian and UIC gauges to the Bergé shed.
- Adjustment of the South header of the loading and unloading railway terminal of Prat Wharf.
- Extension of the railway terminal Principe de España. Phase 1
- Adjustment of railway intersections.
- New railway access. Access and dispatch/receipt tracks.
- Extension of the railway terminal South Dock.
Road network works
- New accesses of the South extension. Preload of phase 1C.
- Improvement of road connection to extension zones of the Prat Wharf and the Energía Wharf.
- Refurbishment of the Port roundabout. Campaign 2014.
