Project and Construction Management for the implementation of a New Modal Transfer Centre associated with a major real estate operation
The project, located in Mexico City, and with an estimated investment of 3.5 billion Mexican pesos, involves the creation of the New Model Transfer Centre for CETRAM Chapultepec transport and the development of a major associated real estate operation to regenerate the area, which is currently underprivileged. The project includes the construction of an underground car park comprising five basements, a shopping mall, a hotel and a 47 floor office block.
CETRAM Chapultepec has an important strategic role due to its location in the city and the growing number of users. The remodeling consists of the creation of a new transport interchange that will combine connections with metro, train and bus. To do so, two tunnels will be extended, improved accessibility to the station, connection with the underground waiting area, redistribution of the Plaza de Chapultepec and restoration of archaeological monuments.
Prointec globally managed the operation in the design and execution phases. As independent consultants, in the scope of the operation, Prointec has also performed topography and geology studies and studies on the affected services, executive installation projects and BIM/MEP coordination for the execution project.
